Employee Loyalty in Sweden

Sammanfattning
This article presents a short but comprehensive survey of the duty of loyalty to their employer owed by employees. The main components of that duty are non-competition, confidentiality, satisfactory job performance, carefulness and prudence, integrity and a duty to notify the employer of dangers and unacceptable conditions. The right of employees to criticize the employer and to disclose information about unacceptable conditions at the workplace is also discussed.
