Sweden: Transition through collective bargaining

Sammanfattning
This chapter, written by Kerstin Ahlberg and Niklas Bruun, describes how collective bargaining on wages in Sweden has developed from the beginning of the 1990s until 2004. A fundamental change has taken place through decentralisation and individualisation of wage formation. However, this change has taken place within the formal system of collective wage formation, which is still intact.
